Currently there are over 3,500 non-government organisations which have UN Category One Consultative Status at the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and consultative or liaison links with many other UN organizations and agencies. In Queensland organisations such as the Queensland Country Women’s Association, Soroptimists, Women’s International League of Peace and Freedom, Earth Charter, with consultative status with the UN, are members of the Queensland Executive Management Committee.
Also, a range of organizations support UNAA Queensland programs and activities. The following have supported UNAA Queensland conferences and activities; Bond University, University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, UN Women Australia, Women’s’ International League of Peace & Freedom, Griffith University, Australian National University, Soroptimists International.
