UNITED NATIONS ASSOCIATION AUSTRALIA (WESTERN AUSTRALIAN DIVISION)
Welcome to the Western Australian division of the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAAWA). We are dedicated to informing, inspiring and engaging the West Australian community and leaders regarding the work, goals and values of the United Nations to create a safer, fairer and more sustainable world.
Established in 1946, the Western Australian Division of the UNAA is run solely by a small group of passionate and committed volunteers. We have Education, Environment, Human Rights and Women focus groups with a strong emphasis on achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Click here for more information from the WA President.
We welcome new members to join us. By becoming a member, you join with a group of people committed to the values that you believe in, who understand the need to act if we are to create the world we want and that future generations need. Membership is aimed at people and organisations that share an interest in building a better world through international cooperation.
Join us and become a part of the unique professional culture of our upcoming events. We are a non-profit, non-government, membership based organisation which works to raise awareness of the United Nations and its programs and engage local communities in key activities such as the UN Day Gala, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Forums, Human Rights short film showcases, Environment art exhibitions, and more.
